Hi, I'm Alex Larson. Welcome to my site!

I am a developer based out of Boston, MA. I built this site to showcase some of my skills and to have a place on the web to call my own. The site is built mostly from scratch (I now manage some of my layout using JQuery) and is self-hosted (more details on this in the Code section of this site).

Part of why I put this site together is so I could show a bit of who I am instead of just what I can do. If you would like to know more About Me ... I made a page for that.

With technology constantly advancing and becoming so deeply rooted in everyday life, I think it is of the utmost importance to consider ethics when working with code. I created a Philosophy page to share some of my beliefs regarding the ethical use of software as well as some of my general opinions on subjects within the computing field.
